 Personality:
Stubborn: She's used to having things a certain way and will often try to "fix" them if they're broken.
Cheerful: She's rarely down in the dumps and will always try to look on the brighter side of things.
Hard worker: She's a work-a-holic if she's not doing something, she feels worthless!
Loud/smart Mouth: She can be a little abrasive sometimes and isn't afraid to speak her mind.
Greedy: Being a fetcher of gems hasn't made her very generous, she will share with others but will often keep the large halves for herself. 
Curious: She is always on the prowl for exploring and observing. She pays close attention to detail and will often inspect items many times over again just to make sure nothing is amiss. 

 History:
Johanna grew up in a small town deep south, where it was always cold and there was plenty gems to mine. She had learned her love of dirt from her Father, and her love of shiny things from her mother. Even when she was little she would bury her favorite pebbles only to challenge herself to dig them back up again. She would often play with the other children of the town but they grew bored of her games. The girls she used to play with would argue that it would get their dresses dirty and the boys would often nurture her rough and rowdy nature. She found herself more in the company of few friends rather than many. She was a happy child however and not much changed that.

During her teenage years she explored the ways of blacksmiths, but found that she was less than inept in the process of fine tuning and making anything. Her passion for finding gems to be cut into jewelry though did not change in the slightest. Through pure determination and will she mined the prettiest gems she could find, only to sit at her desk fumbling with tweezers and fixings to hold them. Turning gems into jewelry was hard but rather making minerals into tools was far better suited for her. 

As Johanna grew older she became a natural explorer, leading herself through deep underground mines and through dangerous situations. She had always had an insatiable appetite for exploring and this little town would soon be lacking in secrets for her. A new opportunity for adventure reared it's glittering head when she received a small elegant letter in the mail, a new place? A new job? Maybe there would be a place there for her, new gems, new dirt!

Without a word she headed onto the ferry that night and with her pickax on her shoulder she rode to Coffee Town.

 Additional Info:
The pink tinge in her hair is from ground up brick and chalk, it is not permanent. her true hair color is blonde.
She likes Hammocks and prefers to sleep in those rather than beds.
She can relate well with other Canine-hybrids but she has a natural uneasiness around Feline-hybrids.
She is easily distracted in conversations.
If she is not working or being productive she can become very uneasy.
When nervous she likes to scratch her thighs, grip her pants, and pick at the dirt on her clothing
She is naturally dark skinned and the mask on her face is only a birth mark. (no that's not all fur)

Roleplay Methods/Availability:
I prefer "Line" it's a app that I have on my phone and it takes less battery than Skype does. I prefer comments over notes because it's so easy to lose track of notes if I just want to read them but I don't have time to reply.
